Prepared Food Associate

Prepared Foods Associate: We are looking to hire an energetic and cooperative individual to join our growing department. We offer flexible scheduling within reason, but are looking for a candidate with availability everyday 7am-4pm. Weekends are required but can be negotiated to some degree. Our schedule will likely expand to 7am-7pm in the coming months and applicants with willingness to adjust if necessary are preferred. We are offering 20-30 hours a week for this position, with the potential to increase as business requires.

Job Description: All Prepared Foods employees are required to be clean and organized, be attentive to detail, work with care for the food we produce and the customers we serve, as well as our teammates. To be successful as a Prepared Foods Associate, you must demonstrate sound knowledge of proper food handling procedures including sanitation, food safety, portion control, etc. Working in a timely and efficient fashion is necessary at all times. This is a very busy, but very positive kitchen work environment. It is perfect for a team player with kitchen experience searching for a job they can look forward to every day.

Primary Responsibilities:

    • Preparing ingredients, which includes washing, peeling, and cutting with proper technique.
    • Recording inventory to ensure product availability.
    • Producing food items (sandwiches, wraps, and salads) efficiently and with high regard for quality and portion control.
    • Assisting in daily maintenance and closing duties such as cleaning food contact surfaces and floors, pulling expired product, taking out trash/recycling, recording temperatures, recording waste, and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
