Collection Drive by Community Composting

This year, Community Composting  started doing monthly drives for different reasons and needs. In February of this year, we volunteered as a Drop Off Location for their Food Drive – collections were donated to Flower City Pickers. This month, we have volunteered again as a Drop Off Location for their latest Collection Drive- collecting school supplies for teachers and students (with a focus on the Rochester City School District). Their goal is to get the needed school supplies in the hands of as many students and teachers as possible.

If you would like to participate in this Collection Drive by donating school supplies, it’s super easy! Just bring whatever you would like to donate down to the Co-op and drop it off to any cashier or front desk associate and let them know it’s for the School Collection Drive. Items are picked up weekly by Community Composting.
