Help us make Thanksgiving a little warmer!
This year the co-op really wants to do something for those in need here in Rochester, especially around the South Wedge. It is our hope to spread some warmth and kindness this Thanksgiving, as well as provide some much needed supplies for the cold winter season. We are so excited for this project but we need YOUR HELP to make this a smashing success!
Read below to see how you can help. Please consider sharing, or helping to spread the word.
Keep checking back to this page as we update this section with more information, donation totals, and photographs.
Thank you so much for all the support we are getting on this project, we love our community so much!
Thankful Hearts
Winter Gear Collection Drive
Beginning November 1st, the co-op is collecting new and gently used Winter Gear to be passed out to those in need. All items should be clean and ready to give to their new owner.
Winter gear we are collecting includes:
Warm Coats, Gloves/Mittens, Hats, Scarves, and Warm Socks. Adult and Children sizes.
You can drop off your donations to any cashier, or worker, at the co-op.
Round Up at the Register

For all of November the co-op is collecting money raised from Round Up at the Register to use towards our Thankful Hearts Lunch. We will be serving lunch to the area homeless and those in need on Thanksgiving and we need your help!
Our goal is to prepare:
Hot Turkey Lunches with all the fixins’ – Turkey, Mashed Potatoes, Stuffing, Gravy and a Roll.
All money we collect through Round Up will be used for this project.

Event Review
We are so lucky to have so many people in our community that care and want to help others. With your help, we were able to raise just over $1800 for this project.
We made 125 lunches, and passed a bit more than half- not bad considering this was our first event like this, we are in a pandemic, and it was raining!
This project was a success because it brought out the best in people, the want to help others- it just warms our hearts!
Thank you Rochester, thank you Shareholders- thank you to those that donated money, or warm winter gear, you made many people very happy.
