The Rochester Food Policy Council is hosting a film screening of Feeding Tomorrow, taking place at The Little Theatre on September 23, 2026.
This event brings together community members, urban farmers, medical professionals, local businesses, educators, and innovators to support the expanding movement of sustainable food systems within our city.
What is the film about?
Up against a broken food system suffering from ecosystem destruction, climate change, health epidemics, and inequality, a brave group of visionary leaders in agriculture, healthcare and education work to build a more just, regenerative and resilient system in their local communities – giving rise to a new global vision for Feeding Tomorrow.
About the Event
This film screening will feature an award-winning documentary followed by an exciting panel of subject-matter experts who are actively working to improve our food system. Our panelists include Calla Amering, facilitator of Trillium Health’s Food Pharmacy Program; Quintessa McFadden, local small-scall farmer and member of ROC BUGS (Black Urban Growers); and Ellie Faugh, teacher and school garden specialist. We expect a diverse turnout of residents, professionals, and organizations committed to growing a greener and more food-forward future.

About The Rochester Food Policy Council
The Rochester Food Policy Council is a community-led collaboration dedicated to strengthening Rochester’s local food system so that it is more equitable, sustainable, and accessible for all residents.
Established in 2021, the Council is composed of 10 City resident members representing the diversity of our community, along with administrative representatives from Common Ground Health, Foodlink, and the City of Rochester.
