Abundance has a special policy during the first hour we are open Monday – Friday, reserving the first hour of operation for those identified by the CDC as high-risk, including people over the age of 60 and people who are immunocompromised.

What does Immunocompromised mean? Check out the CDC explanation found here.

No Mask, No Entry

Face Coverings

Simply put, No Mask, No Entry. We’ve set out boxes of gloves and sanitation stations up around the store, put up plexiglass at the registers, and set aside the first hour of Monday – Friday, for elderly and immunocompromised shoppers.

In closing, we are here working diligently for our community, navigating through this Pandemic with a smile, and a clean conveyor belt! Please while you shop the Co-op, do so with a light heart, and an understanding of, and empathy for, other people.

Wear the face covering, respect the opening hour for those who are most vulnerable, keep yourself physically distanced from other shoppers and please if you are sick, stay home.

Wearing a mask today means that you acknowledge how we are all connected and interdependent. As a cooperative Abundance is based on mutual dependence. We own the store collectively – our investment in the enterprise ties us together. Moreover, our Ends (the principles underlying our store management) states our commitment to a sustainable environment, worker’s rights, and supporter of, and active participant in our community – in other words no store, no shopper, no worker is an island.

Wearing a mask affirms who we are.
Wearing a mask is part of our brand.
